Scoil Naomh Abbáin is a Catholic Primary School.
At present we have 138 pupils consisting of 71 Boys and 67Girls.

Scoil Naomh Abbáin is situated in the village of Adamstown approximately 24 km(15 miles) north-west of Wexford.
20 km(12 miles) east of New Ross and
20km(12 miles)south-west of Enniscorthy.

School Hours:
Junior and Senior Infants…9.20am-2pm.
All other classes……………….9.20am-3pm.
Small Break………………………11am-11-10am.

The School Uniform is expected to be worn at all times except for P.E day. Please ensure all items of clothing are clearly marked with pupils names.

Religious Occasions
In fulfilment of its ethos as a Catholic School the children are prepared for the sacraments of First Confession,First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
The students attend mass on the First Friday of every month.

If any parent needs to speak with a teacher,please phone to make an appointment as it is not acceptable to turn up without prior notice.

Subjects taught in Scoil Naomh Abbáin
Children attending our school are taught all the subjects of the revised Primary School Curriculum. Gaeilge, English, Maths.
SESE History, Geography and Science
SPHE Music, Visual Arts, P.E. and Drama

In the interests of the safety of our children and courtesy to other road users, we ask that you do not park outside the school gates.
Please use  the Hall Car Park across the road.

School begins at 9-20 am and children should not be on school grounds before that time as teachers cannot be responsible for their care.
Children should be collected promptly at their relevant home time.

Healthy Lunches
Healthy Lunches are vital for all our pupils.
Eating nutritious food promotes good general health and improves the chances of learning effectively in the classroom.
Each child is allowed to bring a small treat to school on Fridays.
