School Crest

In the year 2009 the school children were asked to draw their ideas for a School Crest.
Several ideas were put together and hence our School Crest was formed.
The theme behind it is :screenshot_10
St. Abban’s  Cross – taken from the cross in the cemetery.
An open book at the head of the cross – representing the learning process of the school.
Written on the open Maigh Arnaí and at the bottom of the Crest, branches of sloes signifying the  irish meaning of Maigh Arnaí  (The Valley of the Sloe)
