We are delighted that we now have Aladdin in Scoil Naomh Abbáin.  Aladdin is an online system that is used throughout the school as a means of communication and record keeping. Each parent is asked to download the Aladdin App using their unique password (provided by the school). Aladdin allows the teachers and parents to communicate with each other, reasons for student absences to be recorded, quick and easy notification of upcoming events and activities and for parental permission to be easily granted for such activities. 
As we are a Green School, all parents are encouraged to download the Aladdin App so that over time we can reduce the amount of paper notes sent home in a bid to reduce waste.
